Preserving and uplifting the West Oakland community.

About

We support missions that preserve and uplift the cultural, political, economic, and social conditions of the Hoover, Clawson, and McClymonds neighborhoods. As a cultural action network, we deliberately use well-designed methodologies that capture and record the cultural heritage of African Americans located in Northwest Oakland.

We believe that culture independently influences action. We cultivate structural opportunities for action that cultivate new opportunities for systematic, differentiated resolutions that determine our culture’s casual role in shaping action.
