Our award-winning Black Liberation Walking Tour (BLWT) through Oakland’s Hoover-Foster neighborhood celebrating Black History and culture.

This family-friendly function will bring together our neighbors for an afternoon full of music, tree planting, yoga, crafts, access to fresh produce, cooking demos, healthy snacks and community building. 

Join us on April 18 for an Earth Day community cleanup at Middle Harbor Shoreline Park – co-organized by our friends at Nurture Nature and the Port of Oakland.

West Oakland residents are invited to a quarterly Clean Ports community forum with Port Commissioner Derrick Muhammad and project partners. Get updates on electric trucks and clean energy careers, ask questions, and help shape the path toward cleaner air and environmental accountability.

Come join us and unwind after the inaugural 5K Oakland Freedom Run! We’ll be hosting massage/chiropractic services at the Wellness Fair while promoting Black Liberation and our Port of Oakland Clean Ports environmental justice initiative.
