Preserving and uplifting the West Oakland community.

Our Mission

We support missions that preserve and uplift the cultural, political, economic and social conditions of the Hoover-Foster, Clawson, McClymonds and Prescott neighborhoods. As a cultural action network, we deliberately used well-designed methodologies that capture and record the cultural heritage of African Americans located in Northwest Oakland.

We believe that culture independently influences action. We cultivate structural opportunities for action that cultivate new opportunities for systemic, differentiated resolutions that determing our culture’s casual role in shaping action.
